Where a district hospital is a day away, a working connection is often the only available service delivery route. The same terrain that makes services hard to deliver makes monitoring hard, and artificial intelligence and remote sensing now let slopes, forests, water and weather be watched at a scale ground surveys cannot match. This track examines digital access and AI applied to the region's development challenges: monitoring and early warning, service delivery in remote terrain, decision support for agencies, and the digital skills that let communities use these tools rather than only be measured by them.
• Understand digital access gaps and their effect on services
• Showcase AI, remote sensing and platforms in monitoring, warning and delivery
• Identify opportunities in digital health, education, agri tech and geospatial services
• Connect innovators with agencies, telecom and technology partners and funders
• Develop deployable digital solutions for remote terrain
• A catalogue of tested AI and digital use cases for the region
• Data and deployment partnerships between researchers, startups and agencies
• Pilot locations for digital service delivery
• A one page roadmap for the summit outcome document
Computer scientists and AI researchers, geospatial and remote sensing specialists, digital
health and education startups, telecom and technology partners, government IT and disaster
agencies, digital inclusion NGOs, and young innovators.
