About

Dr. Ashish Mathur specialises in microfluidics,  nanotechnology, connected health, sensors, and  point-of-care devices. With a strong commitment to  improving healthcare accessibility and affordability, his  research focuses on developing innovative  technologies with societal benefits. Dr. Mathur's work  encompasses the design and implementation of  low-cost, portable sensors for various applications,  including healthcare diagnostics and environmental  monitoring. By leveraging advancements in  microfluidics and nanotechnology, he aims to create  practical solutions that bridge the gap between  laboratory settings and real-world healthcare scenarios. 

About the Session

This session will explore cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing the resilience and sustainability of Himalayan communities. Key topics will include advancements in renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, water resource management, and eco-friendly infrastructure, with a special focus on sensing technology and material science. Participants will gain insights into the latest research in sensor networks for environmental monitoring, innovative materials for building resilient infrastructure, and the integration of modern technologies such as IoT and AI for sustainable development in this ecologically sensitive region.
