This session focused on tackling riverbank pollution, exploring the causes, impacts, and innovative solutions to this pressing environmental issue. The session will cover various aspects, including the sources of pollution such as industrial discharge, agricultural runoff, and urban waste, as well as the effects on ecosystems, biodiversity, and human health. Additionally, we will discuss advanced technologies for monitoring and cleaning riverbanks, policy and regulatory challenges, and successful case studies of river restoration projects. By raising public awareness and fostering community involvement, we aim to develop comprehensive strategies to effectively manage and reduce riverbank pollution.
