Dr Rajesh Tripathi with more than 18 years experience in field of Academics and Media and Journalism, holds a Doctorate degree in Strategic Management from prestigious Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad. He is Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A) from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth (MGKV), a state government University, Varanasi.
He is also Masters in English Literature from University of Allahabad, Allahabad (Central University) and Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi and has Certificate in IPR course of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva, Switzerland. He is UGC-NET qualified
Choosing the right materials is key for sustainable product design. Materials should be recyclable, biodegradable, and not energy-intensive. Natural materials should come from eco-friendly, non-threatened sources. Recycled materials reduce waste and conserve resources. Sustainable products should be designed for longevity, reuse, or recycling to minimize environmental impact throughout their lifecycle.
Sustainable production involves creating goods and services that are non-polluting, energy-efficient, economically viable, and safe for workers, communities, and consumers. It also benefits the environment, employees, communities, and organizations.
Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, Uttarakhand has great potential for sustainable production due to its rich flora, fauna, and natural resources. This session will cover developing a sustainable production ecosystem, promoting local talent and resources, and overcoming hurdles in sustainable product development and marketing.
